About us

Orphans hope Uganda (OHU) is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping orphans and vulnerable children (OVC) in Mukono and Wakiso district in Uganda grow up in healthy, nurturing environments that provide quality care, protection, education, and support. We do this by assisting the orphans, families and communities.

Orphans hope Uganda comprises a primary school from nursery to primary five.

Orphans hope Uganda contributes to the prevention of the spread of HIV/AIDS prevalence in our areas of operation by providing holistic childcare and support, as well as promoting and supporting formal education and vocational skills training for orphans and disadvantaged children and youth.  The ministry of Orphans hope Uganda additionally provides shelter for homeless orphans and empowers poor widows through sustainable development projects

Partnership

Orphans hope Uganda works in partnership with individuals, families, groups, communities, churches, NGOs and companies from all over the world,  in the implementation of child-focussed community oriented programs and projects that benefit whole communities.
