MISSION
Orphans hope Uganda exists with a mission to rescue HIV/AIDS orphans, vulnerable disadvantaged children and youth, using God-given resources to release them from the bondage of poverty and misery, improving their physical well-being, enhancing their academic status, healthcare, granting each one equal opportunity to discover, explore, develop and realized their God-given full potential.
We seek to provide holistic care and support, education, life skills and vocational training, young talents development, HIV/AIDS care and support, shelter for homeless children through orphanages and children’s homes, and to implement programs and projects that benefit whole communities where orphans and disadvantaged children live. Orphans hope Uganda targets to improve the lives and welfare of the most vulnerable orphans and disadvantaged children from birth to eighteen years, and disadvantaged youth 18-35 years, both boys and girls through provision of Education, life skill and vocational training, HIV/AIDs care and support, and shelter homeless orphans in orphanages and children’s homes
Aims and objectives
· To provide care and support to orphans and vulnerable children, including services to children affected by HIV/AIDS.
· To protect and promote the human rights of children.
· To assist the community in addressing health care needs, such as HIV/AIDS prevention and treatment, sanitation and immunization
and to prevent malaria and Malnutrition
· To train youth in life skills trainings, problem-solving and conflict resolution.
· To strengthen national, regional and international partnership through networking, research and information-sharing.
